Our team has experience delivering planning studies and business cases ranging from small private projects to large public alliances.

Our experience, skills and collaborative approach come to the fore in concept development. From hand sketches to advanced 3D modelling software, we can tailor these designs to meet client presentation needs. We draw on our wealth of experience, bringing innovative solutions to projects of all sizes. Our team provides visualisations and concept renders that enhance stakeholder engagement, especially for public and community groups where technical drawings may fall short in fostering connection and understanding.

Our team of seasoned engineers is equipped to deliver your project from initial concept through to detailed design and construction readiness. We collaborate closely with you throughout each phase to ensure all functional and operational requirements are captured from the entire stakeholder group. We understand the necessity of thorough, accurate documentation, coordinated specifications and constructable solutions in delivering projects on schedule, with minimal variations and limited RFIs.

Infrastructure Consulting is committed to helping you achieve a high-quality construction outcome. Our experienced team has the expertise to develop and review construction methodologies, design temporary works, conduct crane load assessments, and provide independent verification of designs. We also perform inspections and audits throughout the construction phase to ensure that project outputs align with design specifications, statutory regulations, and industry standards.

IC provides pragmatic, robust assessments to characterize the nature and extent of contamination impacts, tailored to the site and the proposed development. We then advise on the best options to deal with contamination risk to achieve our clients’ objectives. With experience working with Government, corporate and private clients, as well as delivering projects under Audit, the IC team ensures we deliver work to the highest quality standard.

The South Australian EPA requires that certified site contamination practitioners prepare or review reports when the EPA requires remediation or assessment, or when the EPA needs to review those reports.

The use of certified practitioners ensures high quality, reliable reports that provide confidence to the EPA, SA government, planning authorities, landowners and those who have site contamination liabilities.

IC’s Environment Lead, David Probert, is a Certified Environmental Practitioner and Site Contamination specialist (CEnvP-SC) and, with over 25 years’ experience across a range of significant projects, not only provides high quality, cost-effective advice, but also a deep pragmatic understanding of what can be practically achieved on site.

Our team of structural and civil engineers are experienced in assessment of a wide range of assets. Our team can provide insight into the mechanisms of deterioration, remediation methods and interventions required. This provides you with the insights needed to make informed decisions and plan forecast expenditures effectively. Our engineers are equipped to inspect a wide range of environments – from remote telecommunications towers, rail and road bridges, to over-river and ocean jetties, and other marine structures. With our own inspection vessel and remotely piloted aircraft, we bring the right tools to ensure thorough and efficient assessments.

Our experience, skills and collaborative approach come to the fore in concept development. Our experienced designers leverage the Autodesk AEC Suite to model and document projects with precision. This software enables enhanced review and coordination, allowing us to identify clashes and constructability issues early in the design process. It also facilitates seamless collaboration with other disciplines, including architects and building services designers. Our 3D models can be exported for multiple uses – whether creating component-level shop drawings for builders or generating renders for marketing, public consultation, or community engagement.

Environmental assessments undertaken before the sale, purchase or lease of a property, or before development applications are submitted, can help provide greater certainty regarding the level of risk associated with contamination impacts. Understanding a site’s potential environmental risks is key in allowing appropriate provisions for assessment and management costs, determining the real value of land, and informing the cost required to unlock that value. We can also undertake risk assessments to prioritise the management of environmental liabilities across property assets.

  • Due Diligence Assessments
  • Liability and Remediation Cost Estimates
  • Baseline Contamination Assessments
  • Entry/ Exit Condition Reports
  • Risk Assessment for Property Portfolios
  • Preliminary Site Investigations

Excess soil on a construction site is an enduring and potentially costly problem, particularly if it includes unknown contamination impacts. IC can provide rapid assessment (either pre-or post-excavation) to deliver practical, cost-effective solutions for the disposal or reuse of excavated spoil. We can also provide wide-scale assessments and plans for long-term construction projects and linear infrastructure.

  • Waste Classification reports for disposal to licensed landfill
  • Tier 1 Health Risk Assessments for onsite reuse
  • Waste Derived Fill assessments for offsite reuse
  • Spoil Management Plans for Infrastructure Construction

IC works with our clients to develop tailored remediation plans that address site contamination risks, meet with regulatory and Auditor requirements and deliver project outcomes that are economically and environmentally sound.
