Scoreboard – Lockleys Football Club

VAILO engaged IC to create a modern, premium scoreboard frame, tailored for easy installation and built to suit multiple site conditions across Australia. Through a series of collaborative workshops, IC gained insight into the issues with previous installations, focusing on a streamlined design that securely houses LCD panels while delivering a sleek, polished appearance.

Meeting Key Requirements

Our design prioritised several crucial factors:

• Weather and Vermin Protection: Integrated protection features shield components from harsh conditions and unwanted pests.
• Maintenance Access: A simple, compact design ensures ease of access for routine maintenance.
• Versatile Framing & Foundations: Crafted to fit three screen sizes – small (3.2m x 1.8m), medium (4.8m x 2.7m), and large (6.4m x 3.6m) – with adaptable steel framing and foundation options that accommodate diverse wind and soil conditions.

Efficient Installation and Secure Coverage

Our final design minimised structural complexity while enhancing adaptability, allowing for custom column and beam sizes to suit varying conditions. The result is an installation-ready system with concealed wiring for a clean look. For added protection, an optional rear cover secures the back of the screens, preventing bird nesting and public access.

The initial installation at Lockleys Football Club in mid-2024 marked the successful debut of this sleek scoreboard frame, setting a new standard in secure, stylish and site-adaptable scoreboards across Australia.
