Founded in 2019 by Directors Scott Snedden and Alan Braggs, who shared a vision to create a values-driven engineering firm that would be committed to exceptional client service, innovation and sustainable growth.

Infrastructure Consulting is an independent civil & structural consulting engineering company

What sets us apart in the industry is our focus on simplicity, long-term success and delivering quality without compromising budget or scope, with the result of returning value to our clients on their investment.

We manage projects from early planning through to detailed design, construction and asset maintenance. Our skilled team is equipped to undertake optioneering, concept designs, project management, detailed design, construction engineering (including construction verification, temporary works design, and quality audits) and asset maintenance, across Australia and New Zealand.

Infrastructure Consulting is proudly Australian. This means we undertake all designs locally and actively support Australian industries. We look forward to collaborating on your next project!

Alan Braggs

Director, Civil/Structural Engineer

Alan Braggs is a Founding Director of Infrastructure Consulting with over 30 years of experience as a structural engineer. He specialises in design leadership, project management, and client relationships across a wide range of civil infrastructure projects. Alan excels at early-stage optioneering to identify innovative solutions that add value. His expertise spans maritime structures, bridges, rail, and road projects in Australia and overseas. Alan is focused and driven with strong interpersonal skills to build and lead high-performing teams. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from the University of Adelaide and is a Fellow of Engineers Australia.

Scott Snedden

Director, Civil/Structural Engineer

Scott Snedden is a Director at Infrastructure Consulting with significant experience in civil and structural engineering. He specialises in design management, project management and technical leadership on complex, multidisciplinary projects across the industrial, maritime, bridge, road, and rail sectors. Scott’s expertise spans planning studies, environmental impact assessment, structural analysis, inspection, pavement assessment, civil design, drainage and earthworks. Recognised as Engineers Australia’s 2019 Young Professional Engineer of the Year, Scott is passionate about delivering innovative solutions on large-scale infrastructure projects. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil & Structural) with First Class Honours from the University of Adelaide.
